Welcome to Eglwysbach Community First Responders' website.
The team was formed in Autumn 2008 to provide a rapid response to medical emergencies in and around Eglwysbach and, after extensive training provided by the Welsh Ambulance Trust, went 'live' at the end of January 2009.
The team currently consists of 18 Community First Responders who operate an on-call rota to respond to calls from Ambulance Control.
Folowing a successful series of fund raising events and thanks to generous donations from members of the public Eglwysbach First Responders team has been able to provide an extra set of kit and state of the art defibrillator to ensure that the community gets as much essential cover as possible.
Following the kind donation of a defibrillator by Llanrwst Community First Responders that has been sited in the centre of the village, a further 8 volunteers have been trained in basic life support skills ensuring that the village and surrounding area has the best cover possible.
